Reaching my goals

In Planning for College, you learned about what you need to do to get ready for college:

  • How to choose a good college for you
  • How to apply for college
  • Some financial aid tips
  • What to do to take college entrance exams
  • Suggestions for deciding on a major
  • “To Do” lists for your high school years that will help you stay on track

After reading about those topics and watching the videos of college students with disabilities talk about their experiences, you still may have some questions. For example, maybe you have some questions about what college is a “good fit” for you. Your goal might be, “I want to research two colleges and find out what services and supports they offer to all students and for those students with disabilities.”

Print this page and answer the following questions to help guide you through setting your goal and developing plan. If you have difficulty setting your goal, review “Setting my goals.” You can also talk with your teacher or a family member to help you.
